From our company’s establishment in 1987, we have focused on the maintenance of aircraft landing gears, and have received high praise for our high technological skill, abundant know-how and our airline operations support efforts.

In 2014, we became a member of the Sumitomo Precision Products group, and so started a new chapter in our history as “SPP Nagasaki Engineering Co., Ltd”. Sumitomo Precision Products designs, develops and manufactures landing gears, is a participant in the development processes of Ministry of Defense and commercial aircrafts, and is widely recognized as one of the world leading manufacturers that can design, develop and manufacture medium-sized aircrafts.

Consolidating our civil aviation aircraft maintenance and operations know-how nurtured over the past 30 plus years and Sumitomo Precision Products manufacturing competence, we are initiating a globally competitive business expansion as the only landing gear MRO in Japan able to service both public and commercial sector aircrafts.

Starting in 2014, our business has expanded with the Ministry of Defense aircraft landing gear maintenance commissions in addition to our traditional domestic airline fleet landing gear maintenance work.

Looking towards the future, we will be providing support for the entire life-cycle of landing gears on aircraft operating both domestically and throughout Asia.
