  • Successful completion of the B767 L/G OUTER CYLINDER inside repair
Action
The repair area was inside the cylinder, approx. 1500mm from the edge. Being very hard to reach, the repair was extremely difficult, but by drawing on our skills of creativity and refinement throughout the process, we were able to complete the chrome plating repair within the original OH schedule.
Result

By the achievement of the restoration during the Overhaul term of works, completed without the change of the customer maintenance plan.

Action
Customers frequently experienced loose or missing Target and it caused the cancel of flight.
We suggested to the customer change of fixed method from Rivet to Hi-Lock Faster and apply Sealant to the surface at the time of Target installation.
Result
  • OEM accepted our suggestion and repair method was approved.
  • Contribute to stable operation.
